Sometimes in life we meet people who help us turn a corner. They introduce us to new experiences, new places, new people, new outlooks on things which have become, for us, stale. They hold our attention just long enough to make us think differently about something. We borrow their eyes momentarily, and things change for ever.

For this competition, we’d like you to write a story with the theme “The Person who changed my mind.” Within that, it could be about anything. As long as the story contains an encounter with someone and a resulting transformation. And is no longer than 1,500 words.
