She wasn't wrong either ^ ^ ^

This book was one of three books I got from my schools Prizegiving (I won an Endeavour award) and as I stood and looked at the books we could choose from I sighed - a lot. I have always been one to stray from the likes of Twilight and Jacqueline Wilson because they just offer the generic stuff everyone loves whilst I like the hidden treasures only a few random people have heard off. Though it sounds like I've gone off at a tangent I have a point here; I thought this book would be like that, boring, cheesy, trying to bond with the reader in typical 'teen-relating' fashion and I thought I may as well get it because the rest were fantasy type crap.

Well, how wrong I was.

This book is amazing, I loved it. It drew me in and kept me reading (I read it in one day I think it was - maybe two) It is HILARIOUS, or at least there were a large number of pages where I couldn't stop laughing so loud. It's got a hint of mystery throughout that had me guessing pretty much every character she named. I loved the main characters so much; I mean who wouldn't want to have a boyfriend like Dan Bailey (the bf in the book, duh!)

Most of all, what made me love it the most, is that, at first I thought it was a young teenager (13-14) writing it, but then I found out the girl in it is meant to be 17 and I realised that her irrational thoughts that showed her insecurity really are felt by pretty much every girl and that the paranoia girls can feel only happens with them is actually such a common problem.

It is such a great read - love it, laugh at it and just, I beg you, read it.
