The moment i open my eyes, i knew it was going to be a bad day. I went to school with a glum face. I was very worried about my father. who had been smoking and drinking so much that he had to be hospitalized. Even thinking about it, shivers run down my spine. Even though, he drank and smoked a lot, he cared a lot for me than my mother. She was always too self-centered. I also had showered more love on my father than my mother. But now that my father was ill, i did not know what to do. I even went to a counsellor in the school. But that was not enough to calm me down. Thus, during lessons, i could not concentrate on what the teachers were talking about.

An announcement was made by a teacher in the office, asking me to go down to the office. I went down to the office, asking me to go down to the office. I went down to the office and saw my mother standing there with a pale face. She told me that my father was in a serious condition. At that moment, lightning streaked across the sky and it started raining heavily. My mother took me to the hospital by taxi. Thanks to the driver, that he drove fast. We rushed towards the ward and saw my father. The doctor said that he would have to transfer my father to another hospital due to his serious condition. The next moment, shrill peals of siren filled the air.

We went to the other hospital. They rushed him to the emergency room. I could not bear to see him. His fingernails had turned blue and a hole was cut on the side of his throat for him to breathe properly.

An hour later, my father passed away. He could not breathe through his throat. Upon hearing this news, i began to weep budly. I managed to control my emotion.

I glanced outside the window and noticed a rainbow had formed outside. Only then did i know that my father was in peace. But i began to cry silently leaning on the hospital wall. Not wanting to remember the day but unable to forget it.
